Fertilization

Your plants, once established, usually do a good job pulling all the nu-trients they need out of whatever soil they are planted in. But, they can always benefit from a boost from time to time. Applying a balanced fertilizer to your plants in the spring gives them that boost and sets them on the right track for a healthier start to the year's growing season.

Weed Control

A sufficient layer of organic mulch is a good start to keeping weeds out of your beds, but applying a pre-emergent herbicide will be sure to keep the weeds at bay. We can apply an application in early spring to get ahead of early weeds, while two more applications throughout the growing season will provide summer-long and fall seed germination protection. We can spray any existing weeds to clean up your beds.

Pest and Disease Control

Pests and diseases can devastate your plants, sometimes in a drastically short time. As some plants are known to be prone to certain diseases and insects, the first line of defense is to avoid using those plants in favor of naturally resistant species. Even so, problems can arise.

We can form a plan to watch these plants for certain pests and treat them as soon as any problems occur. In cases where an infestation already exists, we can diagnose and create situation-specific treatment plans.

Deer Repellent

To deer, your landscape bed is an oasis compared to the inaccessible nutrients in your lawn's grass. Once they find your plants, it can be difficult to keep them away. Even "deer resistant" plants can be vulnerable as the deer's palate changes with the season and nutrition requirements. We can apply repellent products designed to turn them off to your plants.
