Hot, Dry Weather Recommendations
Saturday July 21, 2012
It has been very hot and dry, as we all know. As they become heat stressed, you will start to see some of your plants wilting. Most shrubs can accommodate for this dry period but some will need more attention than others. You will also start to see your lawn get a brown cast, try to limit traffic and children's play to limit the damage. Remember, a long, deep watering 2-3 times per week is better than a long watering on a daily basis. We recommend that you water your lawn 2-3 times per week for 20 minutes, it will help more than a 15 minute watering daily.
